TransUnion Getting Started with TransUnion DeskTop
 
 

To log in and begin using TransUnion DeskTop, you need a unique User ID and temporary password. All users are required to have this information. You should get your User ID and temporary password from the designated administrator at your company.

The first time you log into TransUnion DeskTop, you will be prompted to complete a User Profile. At this time you will be required to change your temporary password to a permanent one. You also will need to select a challenge question and a challenge response. If you forget your password, the challenge question and response will be used for verification. After completing the User Profile, you will be directed to the products page, where the TransUnion products available to you will be highlighted. The highlighted products are specific to your default location and subscriber code.

If there are different locations and subscriber codes available to you, you may be able to select different products. To do this, click the subscriber settings link on the top navigation bar. Follow the instructions to select a different location and subscriber code.

After selecting a product, you will be directed to the input form. Complete the form and click “submit.” Instructions are on the input form.
